Phil McMahon Established Phil McMahon Real Estate in 1990 with just three staff members. Since then, the company has grown to become a major force in the industry and now employs over 55 people.
In 2004 Phil McMahon Real Estate doubled in size overnight opening offices the Southern/South Coast sales and Property Management office at Morphett Vale introducing a new option for people selling in the southern suburbs. The company is not a franchise but an individually owned business and became the only boutique agency in the southern suburbs. With offices already in Glenelg and Henley/Grange Phil McMahon Real Estate grew quickly to become the gateway to the south.
The rapid growth of Phil McMahon Real Estate can be attributed to various aspects of the company, the staff, team philosophy, consistent results and the background, training and experience of Managing Director Phil McMahon.
Phil McMahon’s background in advertising and sales proved invaluable when he started his real estate agency years ago. Phil’s concept was to offer a specialized team of professionals and provide clients with versatile innovative and targeted marketing strategies that could be tailored to suit individual needs. With the coming of the I.T. age, the company’s user-friendly website frequently records one of the highest hit sites in Adelaide and the company continues to provide strategic marketing options for those wishing to sell their home.
Phil currently heads an energetic sales team of 20 consultants who excel in getting the very best price for their vendors and their ongoing training ensures a high level of negotiation and marketing skills. The team of sales consultants are also supported by a dedicated administration and sales support team and who work tirelessly for client satisfaction and to ensure Phil McMahon Real Estate remains No.1 on the Coast.
Phil is also proud of the Property Management division and its recent growth with 18 staff and 2 branches which manage in excess of 1600 properties. Although one of the larger Property Management companies in Adelaide, the staff pride themselves on “looking after each property as if it were their own”.

Peter has worked in the property management industry for over 30 years.

He worked as a property manager in Adelaide for several years and had his own consultancy business, training and supporting property management companies, particularly in the area of trust accounts and administration. He later undertook training with the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA), developing and delivering their Certificate in Residential Property Management course. He was a member of the REISA Property Management Committee, meeting regularly with property managers and government representatives to examine and recommend future directions in property management in South Australia.

Peter was also the National Training Manager for a major software company which specializes in the development and training of real estate software programs and has trained many property managers in all States of Australia in the use of property management software and related practices and procedures.

Peter is now a part of the property management team at Phil McMahon Real Estate, offering ongoing support and training to other staff and assisting in the operation of the trust account. He continues, on a day to day basis, to look for more efficient ways of handling the challenging tasks associated with property management.

Maria has been a part of the Phil McMahon team since she arrived in Australia from South Africa in 2004.

Originally from the UK Maria & her family consider themselves exceptionally lucky to be living in Adelaide.

She has always worked in the finance department and loves figures and assisting clients with whatever their needs are.

She is married with two grown up children, loves cooking and reading. In her spare time she would still like to see more of this amazing country which is now her home.
